Over the last two decades I have helped thousands of guys set up their own home appliance repair business. They have expanded their businesses, added employees diversified into other types of businesses, moved to different states and heaven only knows what else.  Some have kept in touch for many many years and others have gone off on their own and we have not heard from them for a long time. It’s homecoming time.  What a great thing to reconnect with all of the old students and hear and see their stories. Come on down and join the fun. Be the first to comment!

I don’t get it. I’ve been doing appliance repair for 30 years and can’t seem to make more than 44K tops.
How can these newbees possible make 85K to 100K? I’m one of the few techs in my area that can do
warranty work. I have all of it I can do..and still I only make 44K. Either I’m doing something really wrong
or this is just BS. Enlighten me…

The simple reason you are making peanuts is because you are doing warranty work. Warranty pays less than half of COD work, plus you have to wait for your money and are forced to do far away undesirable jobs. We constantly turn away service requests from warranty companies including Sears and Samsung because we are so busy with high paying local jobs. With your experience you should be making $3,000 a week profit working five days. You really need to change your bad habits.
